Awards: Olympic style gold, silver, and bronze medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be awarded in each weight class for each division.  

Rules:

  • National Rifle Association (N.R.A.) rules and H&H Gun Range rules apply unless otherwise posted.  Laser sights and rifle scopes will not be allowed.
  • Pre-shooting will be allowed to those competitors who are Volunteers and those authorized. 
  • Two-handed shooting will be allowed in the following pistol events: Women's, Sub-Junior, and Intermediate Junior divisions.  All Pistol Shooting will be done free standing (no leaning/touching benches) *Unless otherwise posted. 
  • Off-site shooting will be allowed under the following conditions:
  • Request must be made in writing to the Shooting Coordinator.  Venue fees must be paid in full before off-site targets may be picked up by the competitor or shipped at the competitor’s expense. 
  • Off-site targets must have signatures of two (2) witnesses and the competitors must sign each target.  Off-site targets must be submitted to the STAT office no later than 2 days before the competition. 
  • Target scoring will be done in the STAT office by two (2) Stat Officers. (Using this method each shot value is treated as if it were challenged.) As long as both Stat officers agree the shot value will be final.  If they disagree on the shot value the Chief Stat Officer will determine the shot value. 
  • This process will eliminate any shot value on challenges or protests.  Scoring of Center fire & 22 Pistol Targets will be done on the target carriers. 
  • Once competitor’s scorecard has been signed, the competitor's score will stand. 
  • Coaches/Parents will be allowed to cock air rifles sub junior for competitors.  No Coaching from the line will be permitted.

Definitions of Divisions:

  • SENIOR - A person may compete as a SENIOR beginning January 1 of the calendar year in which the 60th birthday occurs. 
  • JUNIOR - A person may compete as a JUNIOR through December 31 of the calendar year in which the 20th birthday occurs. 
  • INTERMEDIATE-JUNIOR-A JUNIOR-May also compete as an INTERMEDIATE-JUNIOR from January 1 of the calendar year in which the 15th birthday occurs through December 31 of the calendar  year in which the 17th birthday occurs. 
  • SUB-JUNIOR-A JUNIOR- May also compete as a SUB-JUNIOR through December 31 of the calendar year in which the 14th birthday occurs.  
  • OPEN-Any competitor. 
  • WOMEN’S-Any female.

Awards:

  • Olympic style gold, silver and bronze medals will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place participants in the following divisions: OPEN, JUNIOR, INTERMEDIATE JUNIOR, and SUB-JUNIOR.
